Welcome !

This site is intended to chronicle some of the CNC (computer numerical control) knowledge I have gained over the last 7 years of my military career (26 years total) in the Canadian Air Force, and maybe help steer anyone who is interested in it as a hobby in the right direction.

As well, this site will serve as a reference point for the students at NDSS, where I continue to volunteer my time working with Mr. George Knight in the Precision Machining Program.  The Outline link to the left is specifically for the Machine Shop students, who I'll be helping learn how to program and operate the Light Machines Lathe (visit the Machines page for pics) that I repaired in the spring of 2007.
